In addition to being an entrepreneur for the last 20 years, Dr. Nos has served as Coach and Consultant for individuals, organizations, and municipalities. Prior work includes serving as Teaching Faculty at Claremont Lincoln University, Adjunct Professor for the College of Counseling, Psychology and Social Sciences, and Assistant Program Chair for the College of Arts and Sciences at Argosy University, where he taught undergraduate to doctoral level courses for 10 years. Dr. Nos has served as City of Rialto Human Resources Training Consultant, San Bernardino County EDD Parolee Re-Entry Trainer, City of Rialto Advisory Committee Member, City of Fontana Commissioner, and Director of Faith and Community for Los Angeles Council member Marqueece Harrison-Dawson.
Dr. Nos has studied nursing, fundraising, real estate investing and has earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Higher Education Administration – Research: “Psychological Factors Contributing to Latinx College Male Persistence;” Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) in Pastoral Counseling and Pan African Religious Studies; Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) in Management; Master of Divinity (M.Div.) in Family Life Education, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Theology and Accounting. Over the years, Dr. Nos has served as a columnist, pastor, therapist, accountant, real estate investor, social worker, supervisor, marketing director, loan officer, chaplain, and author of more than thirty articles and a book.
Because of his comprehensive background and deep desire to see individuals reach their potential, Dr. Nos Coaching and Consulting, LLC was established. Dr. Nos has served as coach and consultant for numerous clients over the last 30 years. He has combined his knowledge, skill, and expertise in the areas of holistic nutrition, health & wellness, learning, business, psychology, organization, diversity, equity, and inclusion, spirituality, leadership, and mindfulness to help scores of people overcome their limiting beliefs and reach their desired goals.
For the last 33 years, Dr. Nos has been married to Debra. They have three adult children and two grandchildren. In addition to spending time with family, Dr. Nos enjoys playing board games, watching movies, attending vegan fairs.He also serves as one of the founding members of Epsilon Tau Boulé of Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity, and board member for Los Angeles Southwest College Foundation and Oakwood University Alumni Association.
