Whole-food Plant-based (WFPB) eating is not a diet or a fad! It is my LIFE style! The WFPB lifestyle saved my life! My journey toward wellness began over 40 years ago as a teenager. I wanted to eat better so that I could live better (healthier ). So, I dropped meat, sodas, and excessive sugar. However, I continued to consume dairy products until I became lactose intolerant in 1992. At first, I decided that I would continue to eat eggs, drink shakes, eat mac and cheese, and pop a dairy-ease tablet afterward. Then, it occurred to me that I was taking medicine so that I could eat/drink food that was toxic to my body. I soon abandoned this irrational thought-behavior and began a semi-vegan lifestyle, only eating eggs.

In 2010, I suffered a car accident-induced heart attack. Unbeknownst to me, I continued work and duties with nausea, and fatigue for three days. On the third day, I went into the emergency room, and my EKG indicated that I was having a heart attack. I was rushed to the cath lab where the cardiologist placed a stent in my left anterior descending artery (LAD; "widow-maker"). In a post-op conversation, the cardiologist made it clear that I would not be alive it is wasn't for my vegetarian lifestyle and avoidance of smoking and alcohol (no risk factors). My vegetarian lifestyle saved my life!

Fast-forward to 2017, I was diagnosed with bladder cancer. After three years, three surgeries, and two post-op 30-minute chemo infusions, I decided that I would address this disease at the cellular level, reprogramming my DNA. The urologist recommended chemo once per week for eight weeks. I decided against chemo and instead, based upon the research, adopted a WFPB lifestyle that included exercise, supplementation, meditation, and grounding. Today, I am cancer-free! No chemotherapy! Also, I was able to discontinue the heart attack medicine regimen of statin, aspirin, & beta-blocker. The Whole-Food Plant-Based (WFPB) Lifestyle saved my LIFE!.

I am so grateful to God for allowing me to access this lifesaving lifestyle (WFPB). It is for this reason that I have dedicated my life to coaching and mentoring those who desire to prevent/reverse disease (i.e., heart, cancer, diabetes, etc.) and lose weight.
